Can! Academy Grads Seize Opportunity, Overcome Challenges

6/10/2008 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: June 10, 2008 – CARROLLTON – High school graduation is often thought of as the moment when a kid becomes an adult.

Several of the kids at the Texans Can! Academy have successfully completed their high school education and will receive their diplomas at a graduation ceremony Wednesday.

Perseverance and a collective sense of determination, from both the faculty and the student body, have motivated this group of graduates to live the dream of sprinting through the academic finish line.

Having overcome various hardships to meet this life-changing goal, the 2008
